TestForge · test management

Your test process in one overview, from requirement to report

TestForge brings requirements, risks, test cases, runs and issues together. A project can be a software test or a procedure test.

For testers and test managers who want to keep the chain intact, instead of working in loose lists.

Test management for software and processes

Requirements Cases Runs Issues

Cases, runs and findings lose each other

Test documentation ends up in spreadsheets, tickets and chat. Then it is hard to see which requirement is covered, which run is open and whether you can release.

Requirements without coverage

Requirements and risks sit apart from the cases, so you cannot see what has not been tested yet.

A run in another file

Results from a test round do not stay attached to the case and the requirement.

Issues without origin

A finding misses the run and the step it came from.

Release without a report

The decision to release or not rests on a story, not on coverage and run outcome.

One project for the full chain

Problem

The test trail is fragmented

Requirement, case, run and issue do not live in the same record.

TestForge

From requirement to result

You link requirements and risks to cases. A run records the result. Issues keep status and severity.

Result

A report you can share

Coverage, progress and run outcome are in a report: on screen, as print, as PDF or via a share link. The project has release advice.

What you do in TestForge

The chain below is in every plan. SSO, Teams and TOPdesk start from Team. Analytics, JUnit import and PWA start from Business.

Projects

A project is a software test or a procedure test. The number of projects is unlimited. You record release advice: approve or do not release.

Requirements and risks

Requirements and risks belong to the project. You link a test case to both so coverage can be followed.

Cases, suites and steps

A case has preconditions, expected result, priority and steps. Suites group the cases.

Milestones and runs

You plan a milestone, start a run and record the result per step.

Issues

Findings have a status and a severity. From Team you can send an issue to TOPdesk.

Reports

Coverage, progress and run outcome. You view the report, print it, create a PDF or share a link.

Users and inbox

Starter is one user. From Team there are roles: administrator, test manager, tester and viewer. There is an internal inbox.

Integrations per plan

2FA is in every plan. Entra SSO, Teams notifications and TOPdesk from Team. JUnit import, analytics and PWA from Business.

Who is TestForge for?

For people who document a test trajectory. No claim that a specific organisation uses it.

Testers

Cases, steps and runs in one project. Starter is intended for one user.

Test managers

Coverage, progress and release advice. Roles start from Team.

Teams that test software

Requirements, risks and cases stay linked together.

Teams that test a procedure

A project can also be a procedure, not only software.

Why that chain matters

Feature

Requirement linked to the case

Why that matters

You see which requirement still has no case, instead of tracking that in a separate list.

Feature

Result on the run

Why that matters

A passed, failed or blocked step stays with the case.

Feature

Issue with status

Why that matters

A finding has severity and status, and from Team a path to TOPdesk.

Feature

Report for the release

Why that matters

You share coverage and outcome as PDF or link, and set the advice on the project.

Screens from TestForge

There are no product images in the theme yet. The areas are reserved for real screens.

Project

Software or procedure, with the release advice.

Cases and runs

Steps and the result of a run.

Report

Coverage and outcome, as PDF or share link.
